Paulo Gouveia
Presidente da Direcção do Clube Português de Artes e Ideias (CPAI).
Cursou Direito, Gestão das Artes e Representação, e trabalhou como actor em vários teatros de Lisboa. Ensinou Produção e Programação em escolas artísticas profissionais de Lisboa, e é produtor, programador, consultor e júri de vários prémios artísticos, bolsas e apoios a projectos. Participa activamente em redes promotoras de mobilidade internacional de artistas, especialmente na Europa e em ÁFrica.
Margarida Vale de Gato
Doutorada em Literatura e Cultura Norte-Americana pela Universidade de Lisboa, onde é investigadora no Centro de Estudos Anglísticos e ensina tradução literária. Publicou vários ensaios académicos sobre Literatura e Cultura Norte-Americana, estudos de tradução e recepção, e relações entre literatura e cinema/teatro. Tradutora de textos literários em francês e inglês para português, produziu versoes de Dickens, Yeats, Melville, E. A. Poe, Christina Rossetti, Kerouac, Henri Michaux, Nathalie Sarraute, René Char.
Paulo Raposo tem desenvolvido actividade como artista sonoro, produtor rádio, editor, e curador. Desde os anos 90, explora live-eletronics e informática musical, tendo actuado, gravado e exibido as suas obras na Europa, Médio Oriente e Estados Unidos. A sua investigação, mediante processos analógicos e digitais, empreende a descoberta e a construção de espaços sonoros e visuais orgânicos a partir de objectos, estruturas arquitectónicas e "field-recordings”.
Teresa Almeida vive e trabalha em Singapura, onde é Leitora de Media Arts e coordenadora do curso em Arte Interactiva na LASALLE College of the Arts.
Teresa concluiu o Mestrado em Interactive Telecommunications na Universidade de Nova Iorque, e o Bacharelato em Design de Cena na Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema em Lisboa. Foi artista em residência em Ljudmila-Ljubljana Digital Media Lab, e mais recentemente no Banff New Media Institute. O seu trabalho encontra-se publicado no livro Fashionable Technology.

Paulo Gouveia
Chairman of the Board of the Portuguese Club for Arts and Ideas (CPAI)
Studied Law, Arts Management and Acting, and worked as an actor in several theatres in Lisbon. Taught Production and Programming in professional artistic schools in Lisbon, and has been producer, programmer, advisor and juri of several artistic prizes, grants and scholarships. Is committed to culture and art networking projects of international mobility, mainly in Europe and Africa.
Margarida vale de Gato
PhD. in North-American Literature and Culture, in the University of Lisbon where she is a researcher at the Centre for English Studies and teacher of literary translation. Has published several academic essays on North-American Literature, reception and translation studies, and literature and film/theatre. Translator of literary texts from French and English into Portuguese, has produced versions of Dickens, Yeats, Melville, E. A. Poe, Christina Rossetti, Kerouac, Henri Michaux, Natahalie Sarraute, René Char.
Paulo Raposo is media artist, composer, curator, publisher and radio producer. He has been working in the medium of live electronic and computer sound, performing, recording and exhibiting works in Europe, Middle East and United States. His work spans across different sound investigations including public space and field recordings, audio-visual environments, electracoustic and interactive works that explores the inter-relationships and displacements between digital process and architectural spaces, using computer and custom-built software to create abstract and delicate sound works.
Originally from Portugal, Teresa Almeida is currently based in Singapore, where she is Lecturer in Media Arts, Coordinator of Interactive Art at LASALLE College of the Arts.
She holds a Master’s Degree from the Interactive Telecommunications Program at NYU and a BA in Theatre Design from the College of Theatre and Film in Lisbon. She was artist-in-residence at Ljudmila-Ljubljana Digital Media Lab, and most recently at the Banff New Media Institute. Her work has been showed widely, and it is published in the book Fashionable Technology.
